Ty Rhiannon (pronounced 'Tee Ree-ann-on') is a charming first-floor apartment set within a complex of traditional stone cottages, built on the historic grounds of Prince Llywelyn's court.
The pet-friendly accommodation is accessed up a flight of exterior stairs. The open plan living, and kitchen space is compact, but has a lovely bright, fresh and airy feel, featuring skylights that light up the space and make a stunning observatory to gaze at the renowned Dark Skies of Anglesey. There's a comfy sofa, flat-screen TV and stack tables in the living room and the kitchen is fully equipped and with a breakfast bar made for two. The spacious and bright bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and enjoys views of the surrounding countryside. There is a shower room with a sink and toilet. Guests can enjoy the on-site amenities at the Llys Llewelyn complex, which include ample parking and a popular bar and kitchen serving afternoon tea, traditional home-cooked dishes, and delicious cakes and scones (closed in off-peak season and open Wednesday to Sunday in peak season). The communal dual charge pod point EV charger is a convenient feature, allowing guests to charge their electric vehicles on-site (app download required for use).

The location
Aberffraw (said: Ab-ER-frow) is a slice of paradise on Anglesey's west coast — dunes, a Snowdonia backdrop in the distance, and a coastal walk that starts right from your doorstep.
It's a proper hit with dogs, horse riders and families. The beach, Traeth Mawr, is a huge sandy bay backed by dunes, easy on the legs for a beach ride or a long dog walk. A small shop and Llys Llewelyn tea rooms, known for homemade cakes, cover the essentials. A short walk along the coast brings you to the Church in the Sea, St Cwyfan's, perched on its own tidal islet — genuinely magical at low tide, with views out to Bardsey on a clear day.
On-site parking included. It’s a quiet, coastal village with no nearby train station, so we recommend having a car to explore the rest of Anglesey.
